What happens to unloved Christmas trees?
I hate Boxing Week. It seems silly to have another orgy of consumer materialism right after spending a month on it.
I was talking past a store the other day and I noticed they were giving away unclaimed Christmas trees.
These were live trees cut-down before they got a chance to really experience life, all in the name of appeasing the red and white wearing human god of commercial spending. But they never got their chance.
I took them all home.
I had a dream I was defective.
I had stopped by for my annual check-up and the technician brought out a new and improved machine for running diagnostics.
He said they found something wrong with me, a manufacturing defect.
I returned to the factory where I was built, thinking that it would be a simple repair. But after they looked at my paperwork they said I would have to be decomissioned.
